Rev. Dr. Marie deYoung, Consulting Minister

Meet Reverend Dr. Marie DeYoung...

Welcome to the Gulf Coast UU Fellowship!

This is a wonderful time to be a Unitarian Universalist. Our faith is rich with meaning and possibility.   If you want to grow in your faith, and if you are on a quest to deepen the meaning of your life, come and be a part of our UU Gulf Coast Fellowship.  The Fellowship meets weekly for lay-led worship.  As a volunteer consultant,  I assist with the preparation of worship, pastoral care, and strategic planning for the permanent church building that we want to build on our land. When the economy recovers, I will be able to visit the congregation more regularly.  Please call or email me if you have a pastoral concern.

This is a very dangerous time for Gulf Coast habitat and for the economy of our entire Mississippi Gulf Coast.  We ask for your prayers, and your attention to the needs of our region as we face the latest catastrophe wrought by the Deepwater Oil Rig explosion.  If you missed my sermon on the impact of this disaster on our coastline, you can read it on the Minister's Sermons page!

Peace and Blessings,

Rev. Dr. Marie E. deYoung
